As last year’s Philanthropy Chair, I was able to witness the incredible passion and dedication our members have towards mental health awareness. I am honored to lead and expand the best parts of LOXi as President this year. I am especially proud of our new DEI board position, which will help make our inclusivity goals even more concrete, from our internal processes to our community outreach. A fundamental and enduring part of LOXi is how we come together from all different backgrounds, identities, majors, years, and career goals, yet we are united in our passion for service. I am dedicated to celebrating our diverse backgrounds, while actively listening to our members and implementing the changes they want to see this year.
To those considering joining, I encourage you to keep an open mind and get to know our kind members. As you attend more events, I am confident you will find our community genuine, uplifting, and dedicated. If you have a passion for service and an interest in finding community on campus, then you have come to the right place!
To our current members, thank you for trusting me with this position and supporting me throughout the years. I am deeply grateful for all that this organization has given me, and I’m honored to be in a position to uplift members and drive us forward as we enter this next chapter.
To our alumni, I miss you dearly, and I hope to see you at Benefit Ball or an alumni event this year!
